Some things can’t be fixed
Former lawyer Mick is an alcoholic. His wife Lynn is having an affair. Their daughter Lisa is trying to escape. Her boyfriend Pete is consumed by a rage that stems from a dark, untold past. His estranged grandmother, Dora, is succumbing to illness and losing her grip on reality whilst her only friend Ruth is trying to keep it all together. Police officer Jim feels like he’s losing his son. His ex-wife Susan pines for the past whilst their teenage son, Sam, feels confused, rejected and isolated.
Loneliness, violence and tragedy unite these characters as their separate lives interweave; they try their best to move on – to change, to connect, to break the cycles that trap them. But some things can’t be fixed.
